With the sun setting softly on July 4th, 2026, Bobby Lee Turner took his last gentle breath, closing a life marked by kindness, resilience, and steadfast warmth. Born on May 15, 1948, Bobby's journey ran parallel to a world that changed and evolved, but his core—a heart resolute and open—remained constant, touching all who met him.

From the earliest of days, Bobby was known for the subtle spark in his eyes and the sincerity woven into his every word. Friends and acquaintances recall the way he listened with unwavering attention, making every conversation feel like the very center of his world. Through life’s seasons—good and difficult—Bobby’s laughter and compassion provided an anchor and comfort to those around him.

His was a life lived not for grand spectacle, but for the gentle accumulation of honest moments: neighbors greeted with wide smiles, doors held open on cold mornings, wisdom shared freely, and hands always ready to help. Bobby valued connection, understanding perhaps better than most the immense beauty in simple gestures and silent support. As we gather to remember Bobby, we recall the fullness of a life that, though now absent from this world, will never fade from our memories. Visitation will be held at Zion Upper Room Church, 365 N. Blakemore Avenue, Gallatin, TN, on July 7th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Immediately following, the funeral service will commence at 1:00 PM and conclude at 2:30 PM at the same location.
