Carolyn Marie Oglesby was born on January 17, 1942 to Alec and Georgia Mae Thorpe in Paducah, Kentucky. She devoted her life to immediate family while loving distant family and friends from afar. As a faithful servant of the Lord, Carolyn enjoyed being a caretaker of many children. Her legacy lives through them as well as her children and grandchildren. Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories of her husband Thomas Oglesby Jr., her son Thomas Oglesby III and daughters Tara and Crystal Oglesby. She also enjoyed the company of devoted daughter-in-law Tina Deeter-Oglesby and grandchildren Natania, Thomas, and Sovann. As well as many nieces, relatives, family and friends.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 21,2016 5-7pm @ Chapel of Strawther & White, Gallatin, TN.

Home-going Services: Family Visitation - Wednesday, June 22,2016 @ 11am with service to follow @ 12 noon, at the Chapel Of Strawther & White. 150 N. Blakemore Ave. Gallatin, TN.37066

Interment: Gallatin City Cemetery, Gallatin, TN.
