James Wesley Buckner, Sr. was born on July 16,1930 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Janette and Richard Buckner. Preceding him in death were his wife Betty and his brother Richard J.

In 1945 he was united with his first love, Betty and in this union two children were born.

James is survived by his children Patricia Ann Long (Jerry) and James Jr.(Margaret) Four grandchildren, Five great grandchildren, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
