Mother Mary Jane McDonald (Big Mama) as she was affectionately known, was born to the late Edgar and Frankie Wright of Macon County, Beech Hill Community. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Isabelle,Nanny Lewis,Georgia Sanders, four brothers; Roy Wright, Roosevelt Wright, Benny Wright, James Wright, one grandson Bruce McDonald, one great grandson, Christopher Ryan McDonald, and a affectionate pet(9).

Mary was married to the late D.C. McDonald, to that union, five children were born; Hattie, Melvin,James,Shirley,Betty. She departed this life on Saturday, March 28,2015.

" Adopted son"- Jerry Clift; 14 Grandchildren, 4 foster grandsons, 11 great-grand children, 42 great-great grandchildren, A host of nieces,nephews,cousins and and friends.
