Georgia Mai Harper was born to the late Ed Leslie "Buddy"and Mary Lillian Vaughn in June 24,1943. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 13,2014 at the age of 70.

Georgia accepted Christ at a early age, and was a active member of Smith Chapel A.M.E. Church where she held several positions. She was an active member of the Ward Preservation Association.

In 1967, She was united in Holy Matrimony with Earnest D. Harper. From this union, they were blessed with two children: Iris(Maurice) Harper-Jones of Lebanon,TN; son- Earnest D. Harper Jr. of Hartsville,TN. and granddaughter Alexis Fom. Aunt: Mrs. Nell McCadden, 8 sister-in-laws,2 brothers-in-laws; a host of nieces and nephews,devoted cousins: Willie D. McCadden, and Sally B. Harper; Devoted friend Karla Koperski and a host of other relatives and friends.
