VISITATION: WED. APRIL 8,2015 @ 4-7 pm @ KEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, HARTSVILLE,TN.SERVICE: THUR. APRIL 9,2015 @ 12 NOON..FUNERAL SERVICES TO FOLLOW @ 1 pm.
INTERMENT: HARTSVILLE MEMORIAL GARDENS.
Mr. Oakley C. Talley better known as "Daddy-O" was born Dec.26,1947 in Hartsville TN, to the late Hershel O. Talley and Mildred Ruth (Banks) Talley.
Oakley attended Ward High School in Hartsville, TN, and was employed at the Texas Boot and Lam-steel companies for 21 years. Daddy-O met no strangers and he enjoyed life to the fullest. Brother Oakley was a faithful member of Key United Methodist Church. He was the oldest of seven children. He is preceded in death by his father, Hershel Talley.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mildred Talley, Three brothers, Boyz Talley, Wayne Talley, and Howard Talley: Three sisters, Mary (James) Burnley, Ramona Talley, and Elizabeth Moore. One uncle, Daniel Rickman of Hartsville,TN.,one sister-in-law, Betty Darlene Talley,devoted friends; William"Pete" Adams, Clara Adams,James Jackson, and Will Henry Williams. Four Aunts,Seven Nieces, Two Nephews,and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
