Mrs. Peggy Joyce Carter, age 87 of Nashville TN entered into eternal rest on the morning of Sunday, November 6, 2022, at a Rehabilitation & Healing Center, Madison TN. Peggy was born on February 8, 1935, to the late Samuel P. and Virgie L. Stanton.  Peggy enjoyed cooking, entertaining, showing love and hospitality and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Newbell; sons, Samuel and Anthony Carter; survived by William (Gloria) Carter, Renee Williams, Solon Carter, Darrell (Karen) Carter, Chevelle (Elder Mark) Capers, Jeffery (Veronica) Carter.
